New York Times Piece Highlights LeMond’s Work As Broadcaster, Bicycle Manufacturer

Greg LeMond, three-time Tour de France winner and the first American to win the annual bicycle race, took some time away from the race after 2002, the Times piece mentions. But after a return to the event as a spectator in 2013, LeMond found the crowd welcomed him back, even chanted his name when he made an appearance at the storied l’Alpe d’Huez finish line.
