Solve Hires Jarrod Gustin As Art Director

Solve has added to its creative bench strength with latest hire Jarrod Gustin who joins the agency as Art Director. Gustin’s introduction to Solve was as an art direction and design summer intern contributing across the roster of brands, including the agency’s recent campaign for the IVEY Awards. The Colorado native previously worked at Victor & Spoils on brands including Midnight Moon Moonshine and Muller Yogurt. “Jarrod’s eye for design and care for detail is beyond his years in this business,” says Solve Executive Creative Director Hans Hansen. “Talent aside, his work ethic is unmatched. We’re excited to have him.”

Solve Team Joins IVEY Awards Client At 2015 Event

Agency Team Among Sold-Out Audience At 11th Annual IVEY Awards

The 11th annual IVEY Awards attracted a sold-out audience to the show designed to recognize and showcase the work of Twin Cities professional theater companies and artists over the past year. Capping a partnership that began earlier this year, Solve and client celebrated at the IVEY Awards, Monday September 21, 2015 at the State Theater in Downtown Minneapolis. The combined agency-client team developed this year’s “Find Yourself, Lose Yourself” campaign to increase public awareness of the theater community and attendance at Monday’s 2015 IVEY Awards show event.

Solve Hires Andrea Styczinski As Account Supervisor

Solve has added to its team with latest hire Andrea Styczinski, who joins the agency as an account supervisor. Most recently, Styczinski was a senior account executive at Olson, where she spent the past three years working on Target, Whole Foods and Supercuts. The Wisconsin native and University of Minnesota graduate began her career at GdB on Summit Beer and Anytime Fitness. “Andrea has the makeup we look for in our account team,” says Solve Account Director Ryan Murray. “She loves good work and has a passion for inventive ideas.”

Solve Unveils Campaign For 2015 Ivey Awards Show

“Find Yourself. Lose Yourself.” Campaign Captures Essence Of Theater, Drives Attendance For 2015 Ivey Award Show

The 2015 IVEY Awards will take place Monday, September 21 at the historic State Theatre in Minneapolis. Solve’s pro bono campaign, “Find Yourself, Lose Yourself,” has elevated interest in the upcoming award show event and local theater community since breaking last month in print, digital, outdoor, broadcast and social media. Unique to the IVEY Awards, the general public is allowed to attend, enabling theatergoers to mingle with their favorite performers at what has become the Twin Cities’ pinnacle event to celebrate professional theater.

“We were very happy to donate our time to the IVEY Awards,“ said Eric Sorensen, Solve Executive Creative Director. “Theater is a big contributor to the Twin Cities’ rich reputation as a center for creativity, and we’re excited to help shine a spotlight on it,” added Sorensen.

Solve Team Joins New Client Founders For Taproom Event

Agency And Client Team Catch Taproom Show By Jessica Lea Mayfield

A team from Solve hung out with new client Founders in the brewery’s taproom last evening to take in Jessica Lea Mayfield and her band performing live. Founders Taproom overlooks the company’s classic brewhouse. Modeled after a German beer hall, the taproom is a former trucking depot complete with a patio and beer garden. Founders Taproom welcomes musical artists throughout the year, and serves as a testing ground. On any given day, visitors can find several beers on tap that are only available at Founders.

Jessica Lea Mayfield has gained widespread acclaim for singing delicate confessions about love, heartbreak, and contradictory emotions in a way that captivates listeners and enchants critics. Whether she was heartbroken, or breaking hearts, Mayfield’s acoustic strumming and laid back demeanor have remained consistent since her earliest recordings.
