Solve spent time this past week with Detroit-based client, Mercury Bar. Located in the city’s historic Corktown district, Solve began working with the well-loved Detroit icon in 2015 as social media partner. Enjoying uncharacteristically warm temperatures, the team savored the season’s last evening on the outdoor patio appreciating local IPAs and an incredible view of Michigan Central Station. “The Merc holds a special place in our hearts,” said Solve CEO John Colasanti. “We love giving juice to classic brands.”

Solve Hires Liesl Genelin As Team Project Manager

Solve welcomes Liesl Genelin as Team Project Manager. Genelin joins the agency from Aveda where, as creative project manager, she most recently led new store design for four North American and two Asia Pacific regions for the brand. Before Aveda, Genelin spent eight years at Target Corporation in various marketing management roles.

The Minnesota native is a graduate of the College of St. Benedict. “We’re pleased to add Liesl to our growing project management team. The caliber of her experience across video and digital projects will benefit our clients,” says Solve Director of Project Management, Kara Brower.

Solve’s V Foundation Client Runs To Help Beat Cancer

Vice President Of Communications Runs NYC Marathon, Raises Funds With Team V

Solve client Sherrie Mazur recently ran the TCS New York City Marathon to raise money to help The V Foundation reach its goal of beating cancer. Sherrie’s passion and enthusiasm stood out particularly to the New York Post, who used her smiling leap in their marathon coverage. Mazur not only ran 26.2 miles, she also helped raise $9,050 for The V Foundation. The V Foundation was formed in 1993 by ESPN and the late Jim Valvano, beloved basketball coach of North Carolina State, and has awarded more than $150 million to cancer research.

Solve Hires Jackie Lipetzky As Studio Artist

In a move that further bolsters the agency’s production team, Solve has added Jackie Lipetzky as Studio Artist. She most recently worked at Best Buy. Previously, Lipetzky spent four years at Fallon Worldwide working on brands including Cadillac, Starz, Arby’s and H&R Block. A graduate of Bemidji State University, Lipetzky has a BS degree in Graphic Design. “Jackie brings strong brand and design experience to Solve. We love her commitment to great work and are pleased to add her to our team,” says Solve Studio Director Robert Wucher.

Président, France’s #1 Butter, Carves White House Of Butter

Solve Client Transforms 400 Pounds Of Butter To Celebrate Election Day

In anticipation of Election Day, Solve client Président Butter created a butter sculpture of the White House. Unveiled on social media on the morning of Election Day, the piece was carved using 400 pounds of Président Butter, France’s #1 butter. A time lapse video of the butter White House being sculpted ends with a wish of ‘bonne chance (good luck in French) from one Président to another.’
