Narrowing from a pool of over 900 applicants for its #DontMoveToMinnesota WFH Internship program, Solve’s selected five interns to join the agency for a virtual – yet still hands-on – learning experience this summer. Spanning creative, social media and new business/account management, the interns include:

  • Mike Gaines (art director) – Syracuse University
  • Olivia DeLorenzo (copywriter) – Syracuse University
  • Annie Seng (designer) – Concordia University
  • Nicole Hawley (social media) – Elon University
  • Alexandra Holman (new business/account management) – University of Minnesota

“We were absolutely blown away by the caliber of talent that applied to our internship program this year. It wasn’t an easy decision as we made our final selections,” says Kara Brower, Solve Director of Operations/Partner. “We’ve undoubtedly found five people with bright futures in advertising that we know will soak up this experience and bring everything they’ve got to the table. We’re so excited to have them with us.” Mike, Olivia, Annie, Nicole and Alexandra started this week.

Solve Thought Leadership Piece On WFH, Accountability Featured In Muse By Clio

“What Exactly Is It That You Do?” That’s the thought-provoking theme in Solve’s recent piece authored by Group Creative Director Brian Platt. The commentary – covered in Muse by Clio – offers a raw take on today’s WFH culture and the new level of accountability that comes with it. When isolated and appearing as nothing more than small squares on computer screens, there’s no place for anyone to hide anymore. The spotlight shines brighter than ever on what it is that everyone brings to the table – and truly reveals who “has the goods,” and who doesn’t.

Solve Client Founders Brewing Supporting Artists During Pandemic

Grand Rapids, Michigan-based Founders Brewing has been helping support its home state in a variety of ways during the COVID-19 outbreak, notably with its #CraftedinMI series. The initiative focuses on supporting local artists, makers and creators – a large group of small businesses that’s been particularly hit hard over the last couple months. Ranging from painters, to woodworkers, to sculptors, to musicians, to bakers, each local artisan receives a feature on Founders social channels to help raise awareness and drive sales of their creations. In one of its most recent features, the brewery promoted Randi Ford Flow Paintings, a Grand Rapids-based contemporary landscape painter who is inspired by the beauty and spirit that exists within nature.
