Solve Debuts Bee Friendlier Film For Cascadian Farm

“A Bee Friendlier Flower Bombing” Inspires Consumers To Help Bees

Building off of the momentum generated by the New York Times’ recent coverage of the campaign, Solve recently unveiled the latest evolution to its Bee Friendlier initiative for Cascadian Farm. The new film, titled “A Bee Friendlier Flower Bombing,” shows a modified crop duster dropping an avalanche of colorful seed balls over an agricultural community in California in order to create habitat for pollinators. The film’s goal is to motivate consumers to plant wildflowers – the simplest step one can take to help the struggling bee population.

“In an effort to rally and inspire people across the country to help bring back bee habitat, we wanted to show everyone what they can do in as big and memorable a way possible,” said Solve creative director Hans Hansen. Developed in collaboration with conservation nonprofit The Xerces Society and production partner HēLō, the film powerfully communicates to viewers that bees need our help, and that everyone is capable of contributing to the cause. Backing music was provided by Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós.
