Solve Names Andrew Pautz Director Of Business Development

Longtime Agency Vet To Focus On New Business

Andrew Pautz has been named Director of Business Development at Solve. Pautz, Solve’s first hire when the agency opened its doors in 2011, will shift his priority from running accounts to leading new client pursuits and managing the agency’s external reputation.

In eight years at Solve, Pautz has served as an Account Director on brands including Porsche, Organic Valley, Founders Brewing, Inspired Closets and Medifast, which was recognized with a Gold Effie for campaign effectiveness. Prior to Solve, Pautz worked at Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis on Subaru and Jack Link’s Beef Jerky.

“Andrew’s limitless energy and positive, whatever-it-takes attitude have helped define Solve’s character since our earliest days,” said John Colasanti, Solve CEO. “Andrew knows the agency’s soul, experience and capabilities better than anyone, which suits him extremely well for his new position,” Colasanti added.

“Solve’s focus on client success has been our defining principle for as long as I’ve been here,” said Andrew Pautz, Solve Director of Business Development. “I’m excited to drive continued growth by attracting uncompromising, ambitious clients who demand the high level of strategic thinking and creative muscle Solve consistently delivers,” Pautz added.

Solve Broadens Sunoco Campaign

Following the June release of its first TV spot for iconic fuel brand Sunoco, Solve is extending the “Fuel Your Best” campaign across several channels. Launching this month, the integrated effort signals Sunoco’s push to expand its appeal beyond the brand’s high-performance racing heritage. Spanning television, out-of-home, radio, social and streaming video/audio, all elements convey the emotional surge of having a full tank of high-quality fuel. Out-of-home boards use custom build-outs to display over-the-top situations, such as a moped driver jumping over a line of buses. Paid social posts showcase UGC of consumers accomplishing unbelievable feats (like a 78-year-old deadlifting a barbell) before asking “what got into you?” The campaign will continue to run throughout the year. Indian Motorcycle Continues Award-Winning Print Effort

As an extension of the “Set The Standard” print campaign featured in Communication Arts last year, Solve’s most recent print work for Indian Motorcycle puts women riders front and center. The first ad in the series displays an Indian Scout Sixty, with a headline reading “Follow A Strong Lead. Your Own.” that drives home the brand’s positioning of encouraging individuals to set their own path in life. This latest campaign iteration breaks in September, appearing nationwide in targeted print publications.
