Agency’s “The Blank Video Project” Honored Among Best From Around World

Solve was recognized in the 2016 Communication Arts Advertising Annual. The Communication Arts Awards honor the best in visual communications and recognize the finest talent in the industry. The agency’s award was for its “The Blank Video Project,” a provocative idea that challenged and dispelled the industry’s preoccupation with video view counts as a false measure of creative effectiveness. The project has been widely covered by international media including Fast Company and Adweek.

The Communication Arts Advertising Competition is among the most prestigious competitions for creativity in advertising. Work is judged by a select group of jurors made up of leading creative directors, art directors and writers.

Bramel was most recently an Associate Channel Marketing Manager at SPS Commerce, a leader in cloud-based supply chain management solutions based in Minneapolis. Amanda Crotty Joins Solve As Team Project Manager

Solve welcomes Amanda Crotty as Team Project Manager. Crotty joins the agency from Kruskopf & Company where she was a digital project manager. The University of Minnesota graduate has also worked at Gabriel deGrood Bendt. Her experience spans a range of brands including Summit Brewing, Redwing Shoes and 3M. “Amanda’s experience with fast-moving, complex digital projects makes us stronger. Shopko® Launches New Shopko Credit Card

Solve Client Shopko Partners With First Bankcard® To Unveil Retailer’s First-Ever Private Label Credit Card Program

Solve client Shopko®, a $3 billion retailer with more than 375 stores in 26 states, has launched the new Shopko Credit Card. Partnering with First Bankcard®, one of the nation’s leading issuers of credit cards and a division of First National Bank of Omaha, it is Shopko’s first private label credit card.

The new Shopko Credit Card can be used at any Shopko throughout the United States and will offer discounts and periodic deferred interest promotional financing. “We’re always looking for ways to improve services and benefits to our customers, including maximizing convenience,” said Peter McMahon, Shopko CEO. There are no monthly or annual fees with the new card. Solve has worked with Shopko since early 2015 to refresh the Shopko brand having developed the ongoing “The Stuff That Counts” campaign.

V Foundation Reveals Refreshed Look With Completely Revamped Web Experience

Coinciding with ESPN’s Jimmy V Week, Solve client The V Foundation for Cancer Research unveiled a refreshed look and launched an entirely new website to support its Victory Over Cancer creative platform. The work draws heavily on inspiration from the late coaching legend Jim Valvano, who along with ESPN, founded the V Foundation in 1993. From driving donations to educating the public on the cutting-edge research, Jim’s story and quotes like “Don’t Give Up . . . Don’t Ever Give Up!” are embodied throughout the experience. Solve worked closely with the team at V to develop a best in class digital experience and partnered with LA-based Wildlife on development of www.jimmyv.org
